“They should remain focused at this stage with a World Cup ticket secured. However, I can see that the team is a work in progress.

“There should be no break for them. The team should remain in camp till World Cup possibly outside Nigeria for concentration,” Gara-Gombe stated.

The fun of age group competition is to see goals. The team needs to be attack-minded, let’s attacking football be their best form of defence.

“The coaching crew should build the team purely from home-based players only. We don’t have to start bringing players outside the home football. This will improve our football development and encourage players down here to put their best.

“The administrators must only invite players within age range.

“We don’t need to cheat just to win. Our aim is to develop talents from age groups to international stardom, who will dominate the game for a long time,” Gaiya submitted.
