Spanish La Liga club, Valencia, could offer Real Sociedad €10.5 million [N15 billion] for the services of Super Eagles striker, Sadiq Umar, at the end of the season.
Sadiq completed a loan transfer to Valencia during the last January transfer window after failing to pin down a regular starting shirt at Real Sociedad in his first two years at the club.
Since his transfer, the Rio 2016 Olympics bronze medallist has struggled to pin down a regular starting shirt at Los Ches, but he laid a major claim last weekend when he scored a brace in Valencia’s 3-3 draw against Osasuna.
Following that performance, Valencia coach Carlos Corberan was full of praise for Sadiq. That means that the club could sign him permanently when his loan deal expires.

Now, according to a report from Todofichajes, Valencia could explore that option if they avoid relegation this season.
Los Ches paid €500,000 for Sadiq, but they added an optional buy clause.
However, Real Sociedad also added a clause that would see Valencia pay them an extra €500,000 if Sadiq plays up to 60 per cent of their games this season. If this happens and Valencia decides to sign him permanently, they would have to pay an extra €9.5 million. So at the end, the entire transfer would amount to €10.5 million.
Meanwhile, Sadiq, who missed the 2023 AFCON tournament due to an injury, has earned a call-up back to the Super Eagles.
The former Almeria striker is among the 39 players invited by Nigeria coach, Eric Chelle for the World Cup qualifiers later this month against Rwanda and Zimbabwe.
