Zidane could face a fine.
Speaking in a press conference ahead of the second leg of the Spanish Super Cup against Barcelona, Zidane said, “when you think he is not going to play in five games for us, something is up”.
This declaration has caused the CTA to act and take matter into their own hands. An official statement read: “His words will be studied, there will be a possible complaint and an economic sanction.”
Zidane is not the first to to be condemned by the CTA. The same happened to Villarreal president Fernando Roig after he insinuated that Gil Manzano and his assistants were bribed by Real Madrid.
