After winning their 21st Scudetto in 2025-2026, Inter Milan moved above Manchester United and Liverpool in league titles, but still have a lot of work to do before they can catch up with other heavyweights.
Real Madrid (36 Titles)
The Spanish giants continue to set the pace in La Liga. Their storied history is defined by consistent excellence, bridging the gap between the league’s early decades and their current status as a global superpower.
Juventus (36 Titles)
Despite a challenging few seasons recently, the “Old Lady” remains the most decorated side in Italian history. Their tally was bolstered significantly by a modern era that saw them secure nine consecutive Scudettos.
Bayern Munich (35 Titles)
The undisputed kings of the Bundesliga. Bayern has maintained a vice-grip on German football, though their record streak of 11 titles was recently interrupted by Bayer Leverkusen. They remain the benchmark for domestic consistency in Europe.
Barcelona (28 Titles)
The Blaugrana have made significant ground on their rivals in the 21st century. Under various eras of brilliance, they have cemented their place as the only club capable of consistently challenging Real Madrid’s domestic supremacy.
Inter Milan (21 Titles)
Following their triumph in the 2025/26 campaign, the Nerazzurri have officially moved into solo second place in Italy’s all-time rankings. By securing their 21st Scudetto, they have surpassed both AC Milan and the major English powers.
Manchester United (20 Titles)
Still the most successful side in English league history, though they haven’t added to their tally since 2013. The bulk of their modern success is credited to the legendary tenure of Sir Alex Ferguson.
Liverpool (20 Titles)
After a long drought, the Reds returned to the summit of English football in 2020. They currently sit level with Manchester United, creating a fierce race to see which English club will be the first to reach 21.
AC Milan (19 Titles)
While the Rossoneri boast a massive European pedigree, their domestic tally sits just behind their cross-town rivals.
Paris Saint-Germain (13 Titles)
The dominant force in French football today. Before the 2010s, PSG were relative lightweights domestically, but an era of unprecedented investment has seen them rapidly climb the rankings, overtaking historic French sides like Saint-Etienne and Marseille.
Arsenal (13 Titles)
The Gunners remain one of England’s most successful clubs, though they have faced a long wait for their 14th title, having finished as runners-up in several recent seasons.
