Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan on Tuesday emerged the winners of this year Oyo State AITEO Cup.
3SC beat Crown FC of Ogbomoso 1-0 in this year final played at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan where both team entertain the fans.
3SC playmaker, Ayobami Junior scored the only goal of the match in the 4th minute through a fantastic shot that beat Crown goalkeeper, Adeniyi.
The two clubs are expected to represent Oyo state in the AITEO Cup competing with other clubs from other states in the country.
Speaking, 3SC coach, Edith Agoye said it was a well-deserved victory saying it will help them work hard to gain promotion back to the elite league.
He said “It’s always good when you win your first trophy during the season, we have to accept that the most important target for the club is to get promoted to the elite league but we have to accept FA Cup, being the champion of Oyo State AITEO Cup is rise step in the rise direction, we are very happy,” Agoye said.
