Nigerian striker, Tolu Arokodare, could be on his way out of Wolverhampton Wanderers this summer following the club’s relegation from the Premier League after just one season back in the top flight.
He only arrived at Molineux last summer from Belgian side KRC Genk in a deal worth €24 million, but his first campaign in England has failed to go as planned.
Arokodare has scored three goals in 28 league appearances for Wolves as the club struggled throughout the season and will play in the Championship next season.
According to reports, Wolves are now prepared to allow the striker to leave on loan during the summer transfer window as they begin plans for life outside the Premier League.
The report added that Wolves believe securing a permanent buyer for the 25-year-old may prove difficult because of his limited impact in the English top flight.
Arokodare arrived in England with strong expectations after establishing himself as one of the leading forwards in Belgium during his time with Genk.

The striker enjoyed an impressive spell at the club, scoring 23 goals and providing seven assists across all competitions in his final season before his move to Wolves.
His performances also helped Genk challenge for the Belgian league title and earned him regular attention from clubs across Europe.
Wolves moved quickly to complete his signing, viewing him as a key addition to strengthen their attack ahead of the Premier League campaign. However, the move has yet to deliver the expected return.
Despite flashes of quality during the season, Arokodare struggled for consistency in front of goal as Wolves battled poor form, injuries and pressure near the bottom of the table.
The former Genk forward is currently valued at around €18 million, and a temporary move away from Molineux could offer him an opportunity to rebuild momentum ahead of next season while Wolves reshape their squad for the Championship.
