The Super Sand Eagles trainer expressed delight as his side recorded another African Beach Soccer Cup of Nations triumph over the north Africans on Tuesday
Nigeria’s beach soccer coach Audu Adamu says he is happy his side remained undefeated against Egypt after a 3-2 African Beach Soccer Cup of Nations opening victory on Tuesday.
The coach watched his side ground out a slim victory against Ahmed Mohammed’s side insists they were inspired by their long history of dominance and quest for a winning start.
“Yes, really, when you win your first match, you have to be a happy man,” Adamu told Goal.
“This is because the match was just too tough for us. Any team planning to play Nigeria, even an age-grade team will want to beat Nigeria but they did not succeed today.
“Since 2006, Egypt never defeated us in a World Cup qualifier. So I told my boys to go and do what we have always we have been doing. And we did to remain unbeaten against them.”
