Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez makes stark revelation ahead of Tottenham showdown

ARSENAL star Alexis Sanchez has offered a startling insight into his mindset ahead of tomorrow’s showdown with Tottenham.

The 27-year-old has played an integral role in the Gunners’ strong start to the season.

And his form is a key reason why the Emirates faithful have begun dreaming in earnest of a first Premier League title since 2004.

Sanchez has no room for complacency though, even as he seems destined to write his name into Arsenal folklore.

The Chile international recently bagged his 50th goal for Arsene Wenger’s side.

And as he looks to add to that tally against his team’s arch-rivals, he’s made a stark revelation about how he approaches each individual encounter of his career.

“You have to play at 100 per cent in every game,” he told the Daily Mirror.

“When you finish playing football nobody will remember you.

“I play every match as if it were my last and that motivates me to do the best I can every day.”

Arsenal head into their clash against Mauricio Pochettino’s Spurs second in the table, behind early leaders Manchester City on goal difference.

Should they secure at least a draw, and results elsewhere go their way, they could end the weekend top.
