Bale not seeking Premier League return

Following reports suggesting the Welshman was unhappy at Real Madrid and Manchester United were preparing a bid for the winger, Sky Sports have informed of his intention to stay at Madrid.

Manchester United have been long-time admirers of the former Spurs man, making a move for Bale when still at White Hart Lane. Jose Mourinho himself is a self-confessed fan of the Real Madrid man, who joined the ‘Blancos’ in 2013, for a then world-record fee of £85.3 million.

Reports suggesting Gareth Bale was unhappy in the Spanish capital emerged around the winter transfer window, intensifying towards the close-season due to the Welshman’s lack of importance in Zidane’s squad.

The winger reportedly had enough when rumours of Real Madrid signing Kylian Mbappe placed him out of the Spanish side, and the Red Devils looked favourites to sign the three-time Champions League winner.

Now it seems Gareth Bale is loving life in Spain and, according to Sky sources, he has no intention of making the switch from La Liga to the Premier League.
