Batshuayi rules out Valencia exit

Valencia loanee Michy Batshuayi has ruled out an early exit from the Spanish club, insisting the reports were ‘just rumours’.

The Belgian striker netted twice in his nation’s 2-0 victory at home to Iceland in Thursday’s Nations League clash and ruled out an early exit from the Mestalla.

“Any talk of my departure from Valencia are just rumours,” Batshuayi told reporters, in quotes cited by Marca.

“I have no issues with the club whatsoever and I have a strong understanding with the Coach.

“We are in a bad run of form and our only focus is to work on overcoming this slump.”

Batshuayi joined Los Che on a season-long loan deal from Chelsea this summer but has scored just twice in 15 appearances for the Spanish club.
