Bolaji Sakin has teamed up with Rivers United from Nigeria Professional Football League outfit, Abia Warriors.
The striker joins the Pride of Rivers after seeing off his contract with the Umuahia based outffit who finished 13th in the the Nigeria Professional Football League.
“I want to confirm to you that I have joined Rivers United,” Sakin told Goal.
“After spending two years defending the colours of Abia Warriors I felt it was time to move on and for sure this is the right step in my career.
“I’m not new to this environment because I was with Dolphins some seasons back so settling down won’t be a problem.
“Rivers United are a great club where I will do my utmost best to develop myself and to make my contribution to the team’s success in the Caf Champions League, Nigeria Professional Football League and the Federation Cup.”
Sakin trained on Wednesday morning with his new team mates in the Garden City.
