Burnley 3 Crystal Palace 2: Substitute Ashley Barnes is the hero for the Clarets as late winner bags hosts three points

Burnley were 2-0 up at the break, but Palace staged a second half fightback to level things up, before Barnes bagged the winner

ASHLEY BARNESwas the hero for Burnley as the substitute netted a late winner to seal a 3-2 triumph against Crystal Palace.

The game was only two minutes in when Sam Vokes poked home to put Sean Dyche’s Clarets into an early lead.

The game appeared to be only going one way when Jóhann Berg Guðmundsson made it 2-0 in the 14th minute.

But after the break a revitalised Palace came out all guns blazing, and after domintating possession got themselves back into the game when Connor Wickham netted in the 60th minute.

Eex-Liverpool man Christian Benteke netted from the penalty spot after Matthew Lowton was adjudged to have handled in the area. But in added on time Barnes popped up to seal a magnificent victory for the home side.
