NAPOLI manager, Gennaro Gattuso on Sunday hailed Victor Osimhen to keep his head level following an awesome debut in Serie A in a 2-0 away win over Parma at the Stadio Ennio Tardini, Parma, Italy in their first Serie A game of the new season.
Osimhen came off the bench in the 61st minute to replace Diego Demme, and showed flashes of his brilliant self in his first league outing for the Italian giants.
Immediately Osimhen came in, Gattuso changed formation to a front three and within two minutes of his entry, his side scored the first goal after a goalless first half.
“I was struck by Osimhen’s serious attitude,” Gattuso told Reuters. “He hasn’t forgotten where he came from and the sacrifices he made.
“He built himself up on his own and I congratulate him for his will and desire. He is a young lad with the head of a 40-year-old, I hope he doesn’t make mistakes and doesn’t change his attitude, ” added the former Italy midfielder.

Meanwhile, fans on Sunday hailed the impact of their record signing.
A fan writing as @Kaus_Pandey17 said ” Victor Osimhen has had such a devastating impact in his official Napoli debut here. Such a livewire on and off the ball, has been unstoppable after coming on. Has been involved in everything. Milik could never ever.
Another fan @nuliag: Osimhen immediately changing the course of the game, only been on for 10 minutes and he’s made us play better in attack than I can remember for ages.
There are those who believe that with Osimhen, Napoli are destined for a great season.
@BonettiESPN: Osimhen created plenty of space for the other attackers, lovely backheel to find Insigne’s shot which hit the post. And that pace… Made Iacoponi look like he was running in slow motion. Exciting season ahead for Napoli.

Just as another butresses @DavidMC_Soccer: Osimhen really completes Napoli as a team. They could use upgrades in other areas to be sure, but the ceiling is a lot higher with Osimhen than without.
