Genoa to sack coach

It’s reported that Genoa will sack Davide Ballardini, bringing back last season’s Coach Ivan Juric.

The Grifone were battling relegation last season before appointing Ballardini for a third spell on the bench.

The Ligurian side currently sit 11th in Serie A, and have won three of their last five matches.

Despite that, Sky Sport Italia is reporting that President Enrico Preziosi has decided to sack Ballardini following the 3-1 home loss to Parma at the weekend.

Moreover, he has decided to bring back Juric, who has been already been sacked and reinstated once.

He has a 25 per cent win ratio across his two spells in charge.
