I won’t discuss my transfer ―Courtois

Thibaut Courtois’ transfer saga continues to roll on with the goalkeeper, named the best at the World Cup in Russia, refusing to make a comment on a possible move to Real Madrid from Chelsea other than to say it is a delicate situation.

His agent Christophe Henrotay had revealed that he had told Chelsea that Courtois wanted to go to Real Madrid.

The move needs to be completed before August 9, when the English transfer window closes, so that Chelsea would be able to buy a replacement.

“My transfer? I am not going to say anything about that now, it is a delicate situation,” he told Belgian press.

“I cannot say much, I am not thinking about that, I am calm and becoming anxious would not help. What is important is to be ready for next season.”
