John Terry and John Obi Mikel out of Hull clash, confirms Chelsea manager Antonio Conte

Antonio Conte has confirmed that John Terry and John Obi Mikel will both miss the trip to Hull on Saturday.

The Chelsea boss revealed the injury blows in his press conference ahead of the clash with the Tigers and will have to do without the pair as they look to avoid three league defeats in a row.

A 3-0 spanking from Arsenal followed on from a 2-1 defeat to Liverpool and with so many avoidable goals conceded in both games, Conte confirmed Chelsea will face Hull without the calming influence of captain Terry.

Terry has not been involved since hobbling off in the 2-2 draw with Swansea earlier this month while Mikel is struggling with a small muscular strain.

Mikel has yet to feature for Chelsea this season after spending the start of it on international duty with Nigeria in the Rio Olympics.
