Former Olympic Lyonnais midfielder and Sporting Director Juninho Pernambucano has launched another scathing attack on Al Nassr manager, Rudi Garcia.
Sporting Tribune reports that Juninho and Garcia both worked at Lyon together in the Sporting Director and Manager roles respectively. But both men fell out with the issue devolving into a media spat.
Speaking in an interview on Ronaldo’s move to Al Nassr, Juninho described Rudi Garcia as the “most evil character” he met in his football career

“My experience with Rudi Garcia was terrible. He is the most evil character I have met in my entire soccer career.” Juninho said.
“He doesn’t know how to lead anything. He leads by the fear he imposes on others.
“He only respects people who have power or those he can take advantage of in the relationship.”
The legendary free-kick expert further said that Rudi Garcia won’t dare upset Ronaldo.

“He won’t dare do anything to get in the way, on the contrary, he will even serve Cristiano breakfast if necessary,” he continued.
“He will try to be Cristiano’s friend, to be close and he will do everything he can for that. It will be a dream for him to be friends with Cristiano Ronaldo.”
After Rudi’s departure from Lyon in 2021, the French coach left with some harsh statements towards Juninho.
“I discovered that when the Brazilian signings didn’t play, he wasn’t happy. That created a problem. He does things behind your back,” the Al-Nassr coach had claimed.
