Karate Open holds in Abuja

All is now set for Karate Federation of Nigeria’s Open championship for male and female categories billed for next month in Abuja.

According to a statement by the secretary of KFN, Evelyn Fabunmi, the competition is scheduled to hold from November 21 to 25 at the Indoor Sports hall, Package B, National Stadium, Abuja.

The Kumite female category would involve 50kg, 61kg and 69kg while that of Kumite male would witness 60kg, 67kg and 75kg respectively.

Meanwhile, KFN headed by the governor of Nasarawa State, Honourable Silas Agara, has appointed memebers of the Local Organising Comittee (LOC) for the tourney, with a charge to organise a befitting championship.

The LOC headed by Chief Dilichukwu Onyedimma has Dr B Bello, Mr Dave Jegede and Hajia Zainab Saleh as members, while Evelyn Fabunmi serves as Secretary of the committee.
