Alexandre Lacazette has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal.
In an interview with radio station ‘talkSPORT’, Silvestre told how he feels that the Frenchman would be the perfect addition for the ‘Gunners’.
‘He is very active, he can play both sides, technically he is very gifted and he has been scoring 25, 30 goals for the last four years in the French league so he is a proven goalscorer” claimed Silvestre.
When he was quizzed about whether he suited Arsenal’s style, Silvestre replied that “he has all the qualities. He is very intelligent, he can make up the play with Ozil, with Ramsey, with Welbeck.”
“I think he would be great for Arsenal” the Frenchman conlcuded.
Lacazette has been heavily linked with a move away from Lyon this summer. Atletico Madrid were originally favourites to sign him, however their ban on registering new players was recently upheld and it is believed that this may have opened the door to Arsene Wenger’s side.
Wenger has a long-standing interest in the striker, having had a £35m bid turned down for the player last summer.
