Footballers nowadays take huge pride in looking the part away from the pitch – and the Liverpool stars will certainly have no problem achieving the razor-sharp look this season.

The Anfield outfit have renewed their partnership with Hugo Boss and to celebrate, the club have released imagery of the suits they will wear this season.

Seven Liverpool players, who looked sharp, modelled the new gear as they posed for pictures in the German designer’s grey three-piece suit.

The suit, which has Liverpool’s crest emblazoned on the front pocket, was matched with a smart white shirt and a red tie.

Among those modelling the suit was captain Jordan Henderson, who had a beaming smile, Daniel Sturridge and Philippe Coutinho.

Goalkeepers Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius, Emre Can and Joel Matip were also suited and booted for the photoshoot.

The photographs were released ahead of Liverpool’s crunch Premier League clash with arch rivals Manchester United on Monday.

Jurgen Klopp’s men go into the Anfield clash having enjoyed an impressive start to the new Premier League campaign.

The Reds lie fourth in the top-flight table after winning five of their opening seven matches and trail leaders Manchester City by two points.

They could be without Georginio Wijnaldum, who is set to discover the full extent of the hamstring injury that has left him a major doubt for the match.

The midfielder has been ever-present for Klopp’s team in the Premier League this season since joining from Newcastle United.

But he limped out of Holland’s World Cup qualifying defeat by France on Monday with a problem in his right hamstring and will find out how bad it is on Wednesday.
