Liverpool defender, Conor Bradley, is set to miss the rest of the season after picking up an injury in a goalless draw against Arsenal on Thursday.
Bradley will undergo surgery in the coming days to repair bone and ligament damage, but it is not an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury.
Bradley fell awkwardly near the touchline in stoppage time. The incident sparked a debate when Arsenal’s Gabriel Martinelli pushed him off the pitch, thinking the defender was faking it to run down the clock.

The defender was eventually taken off on a stretcher and Martinelli apologised for his reaction.
“Bradley will undergo surgery in the coming days and then begin a period of rehabilitation at the AXA Training Centre. No timeframe is being placed on his return to playing at this stage of the process,” the club said in a statement.
