Atalanta coach, Ivan Juric, has expressed his confidence in Ademola Lookman that he will bounce back to his best form soon.
Lookman, a key player for both Atalanta and the Super Eagles, has struggled with goal-scoring, failing to register a goal or assist in six appearances this season. Juric attributes Lookman’s dip in form to his troubled summer transfer saga and believes he needs to regain his confidence and rhythm.
Juric is optimistic that Lookman will soon unlock his potential, saying, “He’s proven to be incredibly strong… I think the team created at least 30–40 situations for him where he’s usually devastating, but now he needs to get back into form.
“The team provides him with the balls and the chances, but I’m confident that with this kind of play he’ll soon unlock his potential,” the Croatian tactician added.
The coach’s confidence in Lookman is evident, and he’s pushing him to regain his best form, especially with the 2026 FIFA World Cup playoffs approaching.
