Manchester United are reportedly willing to offer up David de Gea or Paul Pogba to sign Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid.
That’s according to Spanish media outlet Don Balon who have lengthy track record reporting sensational transfer claims.
It’s suggested Real have offered United Gareth Bale. But given his recent form and fitness issues, United aren’t interested.
Jose Mourinho, however, would apparently love Ronaldo back at Manchester United.
The Portuguese is apparently willing to spend £64m on the veteran star if necessary. Real might be tempted by a swap deal for De Gea.
Los Blancos have repeatedly chased the influential Spaniard in recent years and Keylor Navas has looking increasingly unconvincing.
A move for Pogba seems unlikely though.
Sports Illustrated say his agent – Mino Raiola – has offered the France international to rival clubs.
But Real aren’t interested and won’t disrupt their wage structure to bring him to the Bernabeu.
The 25-year-old was snapped up by the Red Devils for a then world-record £89m fee.
But since moving to Old Trafford, the France international has had a tough time.
He has suffered form and fitness issues this term although did bag a brace against Manchester City last Saturday.
