Manchester City and Tottenham agree £50m Walker fee

Tottenham have accepted Manchester City’s £50m bid for right-back Kyle Walker, much to Guardiola’s delight.

Pep Guardiola will finally be able to count on his long-term target Kyle Walker. Manchester City had made many offers for the England international, but Spurs rejected their £40m bid, which was all City were prepared to pay.

However, after missing out on Dani Alves, the Citizens were forced to up their bid. Tottenham have accepted the offer in which they will receive £45m plus £5m in add-ons for the right-back.

The 27-year-old will head up to Manchester on Friday for a medical, ahead of his world-record transfer for a defender.
