Mesut Ozil, Francis Coquelin and Aaron Ramsey return to full training

Arsenal stars Mesut Ozil and Francis Coquelin are both fit to face Bob Bradley’s Swansea this weekend, while Aaron Ramsey looks set to miss out despite returning to training.

Arsene Wenger will have been worried when Gunners playmaker Ozil was replaced by Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan as Germany faced Northern Ireland on Tuesday night.

Ozil, though, reassured Wenger and Arsenal supporters that he remains fully fit despite being brought off at half-time in the World Cup qualifier.

‘Thanks for taking care because of my substitution but everything is all right guys,’ he tweeted.

Meanwhile, there were hopes that Ramsey could make his long-awaited return to first-team action at the Emirates on Saturday after the Welsh star was seen back in training in midweek.

However, it’s expected the midfielder will not start against the Swans following his recovery from a hamstring injury in Arsenal’s opening day defeat to Liverpool.

Coquelin could be in line to play from the off after suffering an injury in the Gunners’ victory over Chelsea at the end of last month.
