Chiamaka Nnadozie has been named the CAF Goalkeeper of the Year (Women) for 2025, marking her third straight win of the award.
The Nigerian international received the honour on Wednesday at the CAF Awards held in Rabat, Morocco.
Her victory places her ahead of Morocco’s Khadija Er-Rmichi and South Africa’s Andile Dlamini, who were also nominated for the category.
The recognition caps a strong year for the Super Falcons goalkeeper across club and national team duties.
At Paris FC, Nnadozie helped the club to the Coupe de France Féminine title, showing consistency throughout the competition.
She also played a central role in Nigeria’s 10th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations success, recording four clean sheets during the tournament.
Her performances earned her the WAFCON Best Goalkeeper award, strengthening her position as the Falcons’ first choice.
After the tournament, Nnadozie completed a move to Brighton & Hove Albion in the Women’s Super League.
She made an instant impression at the club, starting with a Player of the Match debut.
Her form in England led to nominations for the WSL Save of the Month and the PFA Fans’ Player of the Month awards.
This latest CAF award adds another milestone to her early career and reinforces her status as one of Africa’s most reliable goalkeepers.
