The Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC), in partnership with Olympic Solidarity, the Nigeria Association for Physical, Health Education, Recreation, Sports and Dance (NAPHER-SD), and Ekiti State University (EKSU), will host the 12th Edition of the Sports Administration Course (SAC) from September 16 to September 18, 2025.
Tony Nezianya, the Public Relations Officer of NOC, who disclosed this in a statement in Awka on Friday, said the event will be held at the University’s Research and Development Centre in Ado-Ekiti.
“Developed within the International Olympic Committee (IOC) framework, the course offers foundational training for sports administrators, physical education teachers, sports journalists, and other industry stakeholders.
The curriculum will focus on Olympic values, good governance, and effective organisational management.
Led by IOC-certified National Course Directors and other leading experts, the programme aims to equip administrators with the knowledge and tools to better support athletes and advance sports development in Nigeria.
The course will be officially declared open by the President of the Nigerian Olympic Committee, Engr. Habu Ahmed Gumel, and the Vice-Chancellor of Ekiti State University, Prof. J.B. Ayodele respectively, the statement concluded.
