Tunji Oladosu has been sworn in as the 25th Captain of Ibadan Golf Club (IGC).
Oladosu, immediate past second vice-captain of IGC was sworn in alongside other newly-elected officers, by Barrister Bayo Titilola-Sodo at the Club premises, Onireke, Ibadan, on Sunday.
Other elected officers of IGC are Wale Osungbohun (second vice captain), Seyi Alaba (Secretary), Mike Babalola (Treasurer), Busayo Aluko (Competition Secretary), Ikechukwu Ukandu (Handicap Officer), Sunday Akosile (House and Bar Officer), Ali Hajaig (Course Officer) and Barrister Titilola-Sodo (Lawyer in charge).
In his remarks, Oladosu who acted as acting Captain in the last six months after the death of Captain Ola Ibironke promised to continue with the legacy of his predecessor and make the course an international standard to reckon with.

“I’m not going to disappoint our members because my vision is to move the Club forward to where we want it to be. We are all here to play golf and making the course playable at all times, is one of my areas of concentration.
“On our course, work has started already as we working towards getting new equipment to improve the standard of our course.
Some of the friends of the club have started donating towards getting addition new equipment and work is in progress towards reviving the old ones.
“We will also work on winter-friendly match-play within the country and most especially outside the country for the first time which I believe is very achievable. All of these can be achieved with the collective responsibility of all the members.
“We want to raise the standard of this club with the cooperation of all the members,” he said.
