Aaron Ramsey has apologised to Arsenal's fans after the 4-0 defeat to Liverpool.
The ‘Gunners’ were ruthlessly dismantled at Anfield, falling to a heavy defeat that let to serious questions over their ability to launch a serious title challenge this season.
Ramsey started in midfield for Arsene Wengers side and he admits that Arsenal’s performance on the day was simply not acceptable and that things must change if the club hope to challenge for honours this campaign.
Speaking to Arsenal’s official website, the Welsh international said: “We’re very disappointed with the way we performed but we have to accept it. We’re sorry to the fans that came up – it’s not good enough and we have to do something about it.
“We’re going to have to change something if we’re to compete this year.
“Liverpool showed what it’s going to have to take to compete for the Premier League and we’re going to have to do something about it if we’re going to do that.”
