Remo Stars have expressed disappointment with their relegation from the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
The Sky Blue Stars finished in 17th position in the NPFL table with 47 points.
The club admitted it failed to deliver the performance and consistency needed to stay up.
Remo Stars insisted that important decisions would be made to return the club to the top-flight.
Remo Stars wrote in a statement on Monday, “Following the conclusion of the 2025-26 NPFL season, Remo Stars will now compete in the Nigeria National League (NNL) next season.

“The outcome of the season is very disappointing for everybody connected to the club, supporters, players, staff and management who have invested emotions into the journey.
“We understand the disappointment and frustration this season has brought; the expectations attached to this club are high.
“We didn’t deliver the performance and consistency required to maintain our place in the division.
“Important decisions will be made, and every effort will be directed towards returning the club to where it belongs.”
