Alexis Sanchez is already considering his Manchester United future, and could even seek a departure from the club as early as January. This is the situation according to James Robson of the Evening Standard.
Chilean attacker Sanchez made the move to Old Trafford from Arsenal in January, following a lengthy saga which saw the Red Devils pip fierce rivals Man City to his signing at the last-minute.
However, despite the 29-year-old’s arrival having been viewed as quite a coup for United at the time, Sanchez has since majorly flattered to deceive with Jose Mourinho’s side.

After racking up 80 goals across 166 appearances during his stint with Arsenal, Sanchez has thus far managed a return of just 4 goals in 29 outings in a Red Devils’ jersey.
As such, the struggles being endured by the South American with United have resulted in Sanchez’s game-time suffering of late. Jose Mourinho has regularly opted for the likes of the Marcus Rashford and the rejuvenated Anthony Martial over the former Arsenal man over recent weeks.
And, as per the aforementioned report from the Evening Standard today, Sanchez’s lack of time on the pitch could see him seek an Old Trafford exit as early as January:
“The 29-year-old is frustrated by his lack of playing time this season. And he is prepared to walk away if he continues to be overlooked by Mourinho.”

Robson adds that Sanchez’s omission from United’s starting XI for the Manchester derby on Sunday pushed him further towards the exit door.
The Standard’s report comes just days after the Times claimed that Sanchez is eyeing a move to PSG.
