SUPER EAGLES captain Mikel Obi and former Watford striker, Odion Ighalo both based in Israel, have been named among invited players to face Cameroon’s Indomitable Lions in 2018 World Cup qualifiers.
The first clash is scheduled to hold at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Friday, September 1, while the reverse fixture holds in Yaounde on Monday, September 4.
Also returning to the Super Eagles according to manager, Gernor Rohr is Chelsea’s Victor Moses who missed the last game against South Africa in a 2019 AFCON qualifier this year due to an injury.
Nigeria lead the Africa’s 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying group B with six points, after wins over Zambia and Algeria while Cameroon are second with two points following 1-1 draws with Algeria and Zambia.
Aside the 23 players, seven other players led by Kenneth Omeruo are placed on standby.
