CHIEF Executive Officer, Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort, Engineer Dotun Sanusi, has said that logistics have been put in place to host the African Minifootball Nations Cup next month.

Sanusi pointed out that his outfit has been realising what they envisioned when they established the Sport Resort a couple of years ago.

He said the arena was meant to be a viable platform for the discovery and nurturing of sporting talents to stardom.

Sanusi stated that he can not wait for the African championship to start, saying his outfit has taken conscious efforts to ensure that all facilities that both players and the officials will need during the competition are ready.

“Tonight (Wednesday), we have staked a claim as one of the foremost hospitality and sporting outfits in Africa and I want to say here without mincing words that this is just the beginning.
Our journey into strategic sporting alliances began with our partnership with SWIEQI United FC of Malta and partnership with Malaga FC has given birth to Malaga CF Nigeria academy.

“Hosting international competitions is more or less a daily exercise for us here at Ilaji Resort because last December, we hosted a world title fight between Nigeria’s Ridwan Scorpion’ Oyekola and Lukas Matias Montesino of Argentina and also Malaga CF academy coach and agent from Portugal were here for a coaching and football clinic,” Sanusi said.
