Head coach of Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets, Manu Garba, has acknowledged that defence remains his team’s major weakness, as Nigeria file out tonight for their last group B game of the FIFA U17 World Cup in Brazil.
The dead rubber is scheduled to kick off at 9:00 pm Nigeria time at the Estadio Bezerrao, Gama, Brazil as Nigeria have already qualified for the Round of 16 with a maximum six points following their 4-2 win over Hungary and 3-2 win over Ecuador.
Garba, who coached Nigeria to win the 2013 edition of the global championship said in an interview monitored by Tribunesport that he would work to make the team’s defence more solid.

“I am not happy with the errors in the (team’s) defence. And I hope to make the defence more formidable in the next game against Australia,” he said.
Meanwhile, the match holds simultaneously with that of the clash between Hungary and Ecuador who need a draw to seal a place in the next round having bagged three points earlier while Ecuador has only a point to show.
