Zaza joins Valencia on loan

Valencia have confirmed the loan signing of Italian striker Simone Zaza from West Ham.

The 25-year-old endured a torrid time with Slaven Bilic’s side, struggling to make any kind of telling impact after promising signs in pre-season. After falling out of favour in London, the loan deal was cancelled which allowed the forward to make the move to Spain.

“Valencia Club de Futbol have completed the signing of Simone Zaza on loan from Juventus until the end of the season,” a club statement said.

“The player passed a medical with the club and signed his contract on Sunday. The agreement will see him becone a Valencia CF player until the conclusion of the 2016-17 campaign, with an option to buy.”
