AFCON: 100% Focus Nigeria boss, Mohammed, roots for Super Eagles against South Africa

The Chairman of the 100% Focus Nigeria, Dr. Ibrahim Mohammed, has encouraged the Super Eagles of Nigeria to secure a valid points against Bafana Bafana of South Africa in today’s match.

Nigeria will play South Africa in the first semi-final match of the African Cup of Nations scheduled to be held at the Stade de la Paix, Bouake stadium in Côte d’Ivoire.

Speaking after donating jersey to the members of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Mohammed urged Nigerians and the supporters to rally behind the team as they seek to restore the confidence Nigerians have in the Super Eagles.

He said he’s optimistic that Nigeria will triumph over their opponents and cruise to the final of the mundial.

He said “I want Super Eagles to take today’s match as their final match not to underrate South Africa because we have been beating them in every competition in the past.

“They always get scared of us even though their local league is better than ours in terms of popularity, in terms of infrastructure, publicity and been love by the citizens but we produce players that always beat their local players possibly because of the experience of Europe and Africa, I want us not to look down on South Africa because they will come all out to attack us.

“Personally, I want Victor Osimhen to just get things right tomorrow (today) and if he can’t score, other people will score. Though Jose Peseiro team is showing us that any body can scored and our defense also have only conceded a goal but South Africa keeper, Williams is very good, so we should not be dragging the match into penalties, we should just get it right from the beginning and scored as many we could so Nigeria and Nigerians would be highly united.”

He also charged the Chairman of the Interim Management Committee (IMC), Mr Gbenga Elegbeleye to make the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) competitive and profitable.

Mohammed also revealed that 100% Focus Nigeria engage women, vulnerable groups and people living with disabilities in the campaign train through skill acquisition programmes, mentoring/counseling, humanitarian services in order to carry every citizen along in the focus prosperity of our dear country and so on.
