Cavani reveals what Mbappe must work on in order to be one of the world’s best

The partnership between Edinson Cavani and Kylian Mbappe in the PSG attack has been flourishing in recent weeks and the Uruguayan has now given his young team-mate some sage advice as to how to go about reaching his undoubted potential.

In an interview with ‘GOAL’, Cavani was asked about what Mbappe needed to work on and his answer was a straightforward one: tactics.

“I would tell him that these days football is very tactical, if he wants to continue to develop then the tactical side of things is essential and it will help him become a more complete player,” Cavani explained.

Meanwhile, whilst PSG’s attacking trio of Cavani, Mbappe and Neymar may dominate the headlines, the former insists that there is much more to the team that just the three of them.

“Everyone talks about Mbappe, Neymar and Cavani, but the other players provide us with the platform to do what we do best, attack and score goals. People shouldn’t forget about the rest of the players in our team, they’re all playing very well,” he said.

Cavani is clearly aware of Mbappe boundless talent but will the youngster take his team-mate’s advice on board?
