Chelsea alerted on Aubameyang

Chelsea has reportedly been told they can sign Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in January.

The Gabon international has had a season shrouded in controversy and was most recently sent off as the German giants let a 4-0 lead slip against Schalke.

And the Mirror are reporting that that has led to a breakdown in the relationship with the club running out of patience with the player.

Chelsea are said to be among a number of clubs who have been informed that he will be on the market in the winter window.

And despite his problems with Dortmund, the Blues could be tempted with a bid if Dortmund are willing to negotiate.

Aubameyang has netted 17 goals in 19 games this season and Antonio Conte knows he needs to add some firepower to his squad.
