A barrage of criticism has greeted the Flying Antelopes’ awkward celebration of their Nigeria topflight triumph
The much talked about Enugu Rangers trophy parade ended in farce as the Nigeria Professional Football League champions paraded the major streets of Enugu in a worn-out open truck.
A 4-0 victory against El Kanemi Warriors on the last day of the league ended the Flying Antelopes’ 32 years wait for the Nigeria topflight diadem.
And they took to some major roads on Saturday with the aim of celebrating their triumph with their teeming fans and well-wisher – though in a bizarre manner as fans howled at the excruciating carnival.
