I won the last edition and I will be glad to clinch the top prize again this year,” Eze said after receiving his star prize.
Also, Captain of TGC, Barrister Tunde Akande, thanked the sponsor of the tournament, BOVAS for their continuity in engaging the golfers across the country.
“I want to plead with our sponsor to give serious consideration to expanding both the scope and the structure of this tournament to two day event to meet the yearnings of golfers nationwide.
“I must specially thank our sponsor for the sustained sponsorship of this yearly tournament over the years despite the present excruciating economic challenges,” Akande said.
Meanwhile, former Lady Captain of TGC, Mary Okunola won the Best Net winner with 100 Gross and 80 Net ahead of Mary Onyejose.
