Nigeria’s Super Falconets will confront Germany, China and Haiti in Group D of the 2018 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
The draw ceremony held at the Opera House, Rennes on Thursday, saw the African representatives faced with tough opening contests in the age grade women’s competition.
Ghana, making their fourth appearance in the women’s youth tournament, will trade tackles with hosts France, New Zealand and the Netherlands in Group A.
To battle for qualification tickets in Group B are Korea DPR, England, Mexico and Brazil, while teams in Group C are Spain, USA, Japan and Paraguay.
The Falconets being coached by Christopher Danjuma will begin their bid for glory against Germany in Saint-Malo on August 6 while Ghana will open their campaign against hosts France in Vannes on August 5.
Nigeria will seize the chance to avenge their final defeats at the hands of the Die Nationalelf of Germany twice, in the 2010 and 2014 editions, when both sides meet this time at the Stade Marville.
