Novelty match: Team Shehu Dikko, Team Nigeria to trade tackles December 4

All is set for Team Shehu Dikko and Team Nigeria to tackle in a highly anticipated novelty match to honour the newly appointed chairman of the resuscitated National Sports Commission (NSC), Mallam Shehu Dikko.

According to the organisers of the Shehu Dikko Novelty match (SDNM), the novelty match has been fixed for the 4th of December, 2024 at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.

The organisers expressed hope that with Dikko’s appointment, Nigeria sport sector will undergo a reset which will ultimately change the trajectories of sports in the country for good.

“The whole essence of the match is to honour and draw more awareness to the sports community that there is a new sheriff in town who will need the support of all Nigerians to lead Nigerian sports to where it truly belongs.”
