Onazi targets January transfer move

Super Eagles midfielder, Ogenyi Onazi eyes January transfer move away from Turkish club Trabzonspor if an agreement is reached without any setback when the transfer window reopens in next month.

The 25-year-old former Lazio star nearly joined English Championship side Birmingham City last summer, but Nigerian international says that he will consider any offers from a various club looking for his services.

“Why not? If an agreement is reached without any setbacks I will consider it,” Onazi told Turkish daily Haberturk.

“I’ve been linked with teams several teams and when the transfer windows reopen let’s see if a deal could be reached.”

Onazi who has 48 caps for Nigeria is in his second season at Trabzonspor and has made 13 appearances this term.
