Green has made 257 Premier League appearances, but didn’t play for Huddersfield’s first team during their debut Premier League season.
His previous clubs include Norwich, West Ham QPR and Leeds, while Green has also played 12 times for England and was a member of the Three Lions’ 2010 World Cup squad.
The short term move will ensure new manager Maurizio Sarri has cover for Thibaut Courtois and Willy Caballero, with Eduardo and Jamal Blackman out on loan.
