The Bauchi Elephants insists they have no hard feelings towards the coach as they search for his successor
The management of Wikki Tourists have commenced their search for the replacement of Abdu Maikaba.
Maikaba resigned from Wikki Tourists earlier in the week after spending 21 months with the Bauchi-based club.
Under his tutelage, the MA Boys turned from relegation battlers to giant killers.
“We have rolled out plans to search for a capable replacement for coach Maikaba,” a top official of Wikki Tourists told Goal.
“The decision to move on by both parties was taken in good faith.
“We have no hard feelings against him. The club wishes to thank him for his meticulous services and also hope he becomes successful in his future assignment.”
A new coach will be named in the next forthnight after the departure of Abdu Maikaba to Akwa United.
