Zidane equals Mourinho’s unbeaten record away as Madrid coach

Sergio Ramos’ last-gasp header against Barcelona ensured his coach equalled the record for games unbeaten outside of the Santiago Bernabeu

Real Madrid’s 1-1 El Clasico draw against Barcelona on Saturday represented Zinedine Zidane’s 17th match unbeaten on the road, seeing him equal Jose Mourinho’s record.

The visitors were trailing to Luis Suarez’s second-half strike before Sergio Ramos’ header in the 90th minute snatched a draw from the jaws of defeat.

And the defender’s decisive intervention sees Zidane match the record of one of his predecessors Mourinho, with the Frenchman’s side staying six points clear of Barcelona at the top of La Liga.
