In its quest to put the club in vantage position ahead of 2024/2025 Nigeria Nationwide League One (NLO), Ondo State Football outfit, Adamimogo FC has appointed Adepoju Banjo as the new head coach .
The high-flying Adamimogo fc who missed out on the qualification ticket to the second tier league will be counting on the experience of the grassroot exponent gaffer to fight for a slot in the most important league of the Nigeria Football Professional League (NPFL) strata via the NLO 1.
The team which is owned by Prophet Sam Olu Alo, won the ticket to NNL play off in 2023 football season, narrowly missed out at the last phase of the play off.
The iconic unveiling ceremony was done at the team church ground in Akure, Ondo State. It was at the instance of the General coordinator of the club Mr Adetula Abiodun jenyo, popularly known as jeje.
The general coordinator, Adetula described Adepoju Banjo as a result-oriented tactician who will put his experience to bear to achieve the club’s yearnings and aspirations for the much anticipated season.
In his words: “The experience of the new head coach will be counted on as he had a great deal of accomplishments with various grassroot clubs, football academies, NLO and premier league team. He was a former assistant coach at sunshine stars fc, Rising stars fc, Akure city FC, with blameless records.”

Coach Banjo is known for his tactical approach with a mentality for developing young talents.
He will bring his wealth of experience and fresh energy to the team as he takes over the stage amidst cheers and applause.
The former assistant coach of Sunshine Stars FC expressed optimism that he is committed to building a winning squad that will play with passion and zeal.
With this appointment, Adamimogo football club signals a new bold direction filled with promise and ambition under Banjo leadership.
The secretary of the club, Ogunbusuyi Ayodeji opined that: “The team will fight tooth and nail to get the promotion slot into the second tier of Nigeria League and also win the state federation cup, that the new head coach will add value to the foundation and efforts of the team to make our dreams come to reality.”
